On January 6, 2021, roughly two-thirds of the Republican caucus objected to the certification of the Electoral College. If Republicans take the majority in 2022, Democrats lose one more line of defense, & an attempt to steal the next election could be successful.
Leading Locally
Governors play a critical role in matters of ballot access. Republican governors could make voting harder in places which is why we need to work to elect Democratic Governors across the country. Winning in battleground states like Arizona & Georgia, will only help in 2024.
Saving the Senate
Recently, the Senate has seen significant legislation like the PRO Act & the Freedom to Vote Act. If we can add one or two more Democratic Senators — especially those who are willing to end the filibuster — it expands our possibility to pass groundbreaking policy.
Down the Ballot
Local offices tend to be overlooked, which can lead to extreme outcomes, like the right-wing movement to take over school boards. GOP mega-donors & special interests have figured out how to exploit levers of power at every level to undermine election integrity.
